The 5 Elements: A Blueprint for Understanding Your Animal
What if there was a blueprint for understanding every animal in your life?
One that told you which health issues to watch for before they become problems. What drives them, stresses them, and makes them feel safe. And how they learn best — so nothing gets lost in translation between you.
That blueprint exists. It’s called the Five Element types — a system developed thousands of years ago in Classical East Asian Medicine that is as accurate and relevant today as it ever was.
In this special 2-hour event, Susan Tenney will walk you through the foundations of the Five Element Animal Types, so you start seeing your horses, dogs, cats — every animal in your life — in a completely new way.
No acupressure experience required. Just bring your love for your animal and your curiosity.

The Five Element Types offer a powerful blueprint into your animal’s world—revealing:
- Their health vulnerabilities (so you can be proactive, not reactive)
- Their temperament (how they handle stress, connection, and the world around them)
- Their learning style (so you can finally communicate in a way that makes sense to them)
Once you understand this blueprint, you will understand:
- Which health patterns and vulnerabilities your specific animal is prone to — so you can catch things early, not after they’ve escalated
- Why some animals are bold and dynamic while others are reserved and sensitive — and how to adjust your approach so every animal in your care can actually thrive
- Why the same training method lands brilliantly with one animal and falls completely flat with another — and what to do about it
This isn’t guesswork. It’s a system refined over thousands of years that maps onto every species, every temperament, every animal.
None – all are welcome!
A class manual will be provided.
